How to set up and use Redream Android

Step 1: Initial Redream Setup

• Open the Redream app on your Android device.
• It will prompt you to provide access to device storage. Grant this permission.

Step 2: Add Games to Redream

• Download Dreamcast games in CDI, GDI, or CHD format to your Android device.
• Open Redream and tap the “+” icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
• Navigate to the location where you saved the downloaded games and select the game you want to add.
• Repeat this step to add all the games you wish to play in Redream.

Step 3: Configure Controls

• Tap the settings icon in the top right corner of the Redream screen.
• Select “Controls” from the menu.
• Tap “Assign” next to each button and follow the on-screen instructions to assign the game controls (you can tap the physical buttons on your device or tap the screen to assign them).
• Make sure to assign controls for the A, B, X, Y, L, R, Start, and D-pad buttons.

Step 4: Configure Graphics Settings (Optional)

• Tap the settings icon in the top right corner of the Redream screen.
• Select “Graphics Settings” from the menu.
• Adjust the options according to your preferences. You can experiment with resolution, filtering, and other settings to get the best visual experience on your device.

Step 5: Play Dreamcast Games

• Go back to the main Redream screen, and you will see the games you have added.
• Tap the game you want to play, and the emulation will start.
• Use the assigned controls to play the game.
